With just two more game days left before the All-Star break is your team where you thought they would be? Currently, mine is not. The week of could not have come at a better time. For the teams at the bottom of the standings, do you see any making a jump into playoff contention? All are capable and the basketball gods continue to shake things up. Atlanta and Dallas could end up killing playoff hopes/effecting positioning for other teams or they could end up going on streaks and being in position for a run themselves. I have enjoyed getting to see a each team grow and continue to adapt to the constant roster changes. Injury here, suspension there, terrible referring everywhere.
To close out the the first half of the WNBA season you will get to see each team one more time except for my Wings and the Chicago Sky.I am excited at what the Sky are doing, and I am looking forward to catching their All-Stars in Vegas. I do not believe anyone will be able to beat the Quigley in the three-point contest.
The WNBA All-Star draft will be televised on ESPN2 Tuesday at 8:30CT before the Storm @ Aces game <<<that will be a good one. Each team will be loaded with talent, but Captain Wilson will not be available for play as she is nursing an ankle injury.
My boo and I fly out to Vegas for the festivities on Friday and it is also my bday weekend so I am looking forward to the turn up. If you see me in the streets, speak. I would love to meet everyone on #WNBATwitter. Let’s get social. You can find me @WNBALove on the Twitter and @WNBA_Love on the gram.
Upcoming this week I will be celebrating the fans! Lookout for more WNBALove Stories when the action concludes before the All-Star game.
